15 Artist Invitational, Small Gems Show at McBride Gallery, Annapolis. For the month of December, Cynthia will be highlighting small pieces eminently suited for holiday gift giving. I have been asked to contribute 6 pieces; here's a sampling.
Jane's Eggs, Oil on linen panel. 6" x 8".
Ellipsis. Oil on linen panel. 6" x 8".
To be featured artist at McBride Gallery was a real honor. Thank you, Cynthia. It was interesting and fun to meet people, and folks who come out to events like this are interested in art work. They ask excellent questions! It makes me think!
Nine pieces were sold and Cynthia kept 15 more. She returned only 9 pieces; she really has no storage space.
I am honored and I feel validation as well as humility. What a blessing!
Below is one of my favorites "War and Peace". It was one of the first pieces out the door! It's a pleasure to make such a connection.

I painted this originally because I love the bright colors. Memories of my children playing with these beautiful wooden blocks. It was also an exercise in creating a bright red without it turning to pink. The title came to me after it was finished; it brings a smile to all who hear it.
Oil on birch panel. 11" x 14". The black wooden floater frame sets it off nicely.
This one makes my mouth water! I really enjoyed making all the seeds shiny. Tasty!
